How do I sign up?

How much does Taste of Home Plus membership cost?

There are 2 different levels of membership to choose from. The annual fee is $29* for the "Essentials" level and $59* for the "Preferred" level.*

*Membership fees may be taxed in accordance with state laws. Annual membership fee does not include applicable taxes.

How long does my Taste of Home Plus membership last?

Your one year term begins on the date of membership purchase.

What personal information is needed to become a member?

We ask you to supply your name, shipping & billing address, phone number, and email address. By providing us with this information, we can deliver your exclusive member-only special offers and discounts; and send subscriptions, books, and special gifts. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

I don't want to use my credit card online; can I sign up over the phone?

The sign up page is a secure page, and it is recommended to sign up online if possible. Fee free to select the "Bill me later" option. You may also contact Customer Care at 800.734.4553 if you need further assistance with your sign up.

Why isn't my state showing up in the drop-down menu on the Join page?

Taste of Home Plus is not available to Canadian or International residents and not available to US residents in Rhode Island, New Hampshire or California. Iowa residents are only eligible to purchase the Essentials level membership. Please see Terms & Conditions for more information.

How do I cancel my membership if I decide later that I
no longer want to be a member? Can I get a refund?

If you decide to cancel your membership, please contact Customer Care at 800.734.4553 or via Email at CustomerCare@TasteofHomePlus.com. Refunds will be pro-rated based on how many months into your membership you are. Any new magazine subscriptions or gift subscriptions will be canceled.

Attention Residents of California and Wisconsin —Your refund policy is subject to the terms of your membership agreement and may be different. Please refer to your membership agreement for details.

How will I know when my membership expires?

If you have an Essentials or a Preferred level membership, we will contact you prior to your expiration date via email to remind you that your membership is up for renewal. Your membership will automatically renew (each year for additional one-year periods that commence on the day after the previous term ends) unless (i) you notify Customer Care by telephone at 800.734.4553 of your decision to opt out of Automatic Renewal Membership; or (ii) you cancel your membership or (iii) we terminate your membership. Automatic Renewal Membership fees will be billed annually and automatically to the credit card we currently have on file for you, in the amount of the then current membership fee. If you choose to be billed, we will bill you directly instead. To update your billing information, please visit your My Account page, or contact Customer Care.

We are no longer offering the Deluxe or Premier memberships. If you have a Deluxe or Premier membership, it will expire after the first year and you'll have the opportunity to rejoin Taste of Home Plus at the Essentials or Preferred level. Contact Customer Care for details.

How do I renew my Membership?

All Essentials and Preferred level memberships will automatically renew each year for additional one-year periods that commence on the day after the previous term ends unless (i) you notify Customer Care by telephone at 800.734.4553 of your decision to opt out of Automatic Renewal Membership; or (ii) you cancel your membership or (iii) we terminate your membership. How do I upgrade to a higher membership level?

What should I do if I forgot my sign in password?

On the Sign In page, there is a link for "Forgot Password". Click on this and you will be prompted for your email address, after you submit this your password will be emailed to you. If you need further assistance logging in, you can call the Customer Care line at 800.734.4553.

How do I use my shopping credit amount and free shipping at Taste of Home Plus?

Just login to Taste of Home Plus with the email address and password you used when you signed up for your membership, and go to your My Deals page. From this page you can click right through to the Taste of Home Plus site, where any credits and free shipping will automatically be applied.

Why isn't my shopping credit amount or free shipping showing
up in my shopping cart at Taste of Home Plus?

In order to use your special Taste of Home Plus benefits, you must first login to Taste of Home Plus with the email address and password you used when you signed up for your membership, and then go to your My Deals page. From this page you can click right through to the Taste of Home Plus site, and any credits or free shipping benefits will automatically be applied. If you login directly to Taste of Home Plus, bypassing the Taste of Home Plus site, you won't see your member benefits applied.

How do I get my Taste of Home Cooking School tickets as part of my Deluxe or Premier membership?

Please call the Customer Care line at 800.734.4553 and the rep will take down your information including your top two show choices. Please reference the Taste of Home Cooking School Find a Class page before you call so you can choose your top show choices. Customer Care will confirm availability of tickets for the show, and send you a confirmation email with additional details regarding your ticket request. Tickets are limited and subject to availability, and requests are honored on a first-come, first-served basis. What can I expect at a Cooking School show?

The Taste of Home Cooking School is focused on providing an entertaining and educational event for those interested in food. This stage demonstration of approximately 10 recipes will last around 2 hours and is suitable for a home cook with all levels of food experience. In addition to the show, attendees also receive the chance to win one of a number of exciting prizes, retail savings and a complimentary Taste of Home recipe collection. The Taste of Home Cooking School executes events in Spring and Fall. Recipes are seasonally focused and you can expect Spring/Summer Recipes from March – June and Fall/Winter recipes from September – December. While some schools have a local booth expo and food concession stands this is not the case for all locations. You will want to check the individual city listings under the Cooking School Schedule for details about pre-show activities.

Where can I buy Taste of Home Cooking School tickets?

Tickets for each event are sold by our local media partners. You can find specific information for an event near you at Taste of Home Cooking School Find a Class.

How can I opt out of receiving promotional emails or special offers from Taste of Home Plus?

If you would like to change your email settings to no longer receive communications from Taste of Home Plus, please go to My Account and un-check the box for receiving emails. You can also opt out by following the directions at the bottom of any email message we send.

Why am I not receiving any promotional emails or special offers from Taste of Home Plus?

There are a number of reasons why you may not be receiving emails from us. Here are the most common:

  • Emails are sent to the email address provided at the time of your enrollment into the member program. Therefore, the email address on record in your account profile may be out of date, incorrect or invalid.
  • You may have opted to not receive any promotional communication from Taste of Home Plus. If you would like to change your email settings to receive future communications, please go to My Account and check the box opting to receive emails.
  • Your mailbox could be full.
  • Your server may be busy.
  • Your ISP could be blocking Taste of Home Plus communications.
  • We may have removed you from the active mailing list due to several failed attempts (bounce back) of communicating to your specified address.
  • You or your ISP may be using a "spam" filter that inadvertently blocks the legitimate emails you have subscribed to.

How does my one-year magazine subscription work if I am already a current subscriber?

The one-year subscriptions you receive as a Taste of Home Plus member will be set up to start as soon as your current subscription expires. For as long as you are a Taste of Home Plus member, your subscription renewals will occur under your Taste of Home Plus Membership.

What if I already received one of the cookbooks offered as part
of the Annual Book program I signed up for?

You will have your choice of 1 out of 3 cookbooks as part of your Deluxe or Premier membership (your choice of 2 out of 8 cookbooks if you have a Preferred level membership). If you're already enrolled in an annual book program for any of these cookbooks, please choose an alternate. If you are a Deluxe or Premier member and enrolled in annual book programs for all three, please contact Customer Care at 800.734.4553, or via Email at CustomerCare@TasteofHomePlus.com.

How do I access my Taste of Home digital magazine subscription? What platforms are available?

To redeem your digital magazine subscription, login to Taste of Home Plus and go to your My Deals page. Then click the link under the "Taste of Home Digital Subscription" section to learn how to access your digital subscription. You can choose to access Taste of Home on your iPad and/or get the Zinio edition of Taste of Home. There are links for you to click on to set up your Zinio account, or to download the free Taste of Home app from the Apple App Store.

How do I access Shopping & Dining Discounts?

Login to Taste of Home Plus and go to your My Deals page. From this page click the link under "Local and National Retailer Discounts" which will take you to all your Shopping & Dining deals. The first time you access this page you will need to register with the unique member ID listed on your MyDeals page, your email address, name and chosen password.
